Taipei, Taiwan: Motech Expands Polysilicon Agreements with DC Chemical

Motech Industries, the largest manufacturer of solar cells in Taiwan, has signed additional polysilicon purchase agreements with DC Chemical, one of the leading chemical companies in Korea.

In the new agreements, DC Chemical has agreed to supply polysilicon to Motech in 2009 and also over a 7-year period from 2010 to 2016.

The new agreements represent a total contract value of $166.8 million.
