Board of Taiwan-based solar wafer company Green Energy Technology
(GET) has approved a plan to expand its production capacity.
In
Taiwan, Green Energy Technology will expand its ingot growing
capacity from 300MW to 360MW by the end of 2009. In addition,
the company will expand its wafer slicing capacity from 235MW
to 300MW.

its China facilities, the company will grow its ingot growing
capacity to 50MW next year. 2. Wafer slicing capacity there will
also be taken to 50MW.
“GET’s
ingot & wafer production in Q3, 2009 fully run for strong demand
of high quality wafer, pushing GET to expand capacity soon,” said
