S.p.A.
SCHOTT
Solar and Italy's Enerpoint S.p.A. have signed a long term supply
contract for the delivery of solar modules.
By
closing this deal, the companies have expanded their successful
cooperation that started last year. The contract between SCHOTT
Solar and Enerpoint covers a steadily increasing supply of polycrystalline
silicon modules, expected to represent a total power output of
35 megawatts in coming years. Through this major contract, Enerpoint
becomes the official dealer for SCHOTT Solar modules in Italy.
"Enerpoint
is making great strides forward by concluding partnerships with
experienced photovoltaic companies who are steadily expanding.
The fact that Enerpoint is sharing its know-how with the best
international suppliers on the market is renewed proof of Enerpoint's
commitment to offer products of an extremely high standard," comments
Rocco Viscontini, President and Managing Director at Enerpoint.
"Italy
is one of the emerging markets in Europe that shows the most promise.
SCHOTT Solar is delighted to expand this long-term partnership
with Enerpoint – a Company with the same understanding of what
quality and service to the customer means" notes Michael Harre,
Chief Sales Officer at SCHOTT Solar.
The
relationship between SCHOTT Solar and Enerpoint is founded on
shared values such as excellent service, high qualitative standards
and a passion for photovoltaics, one of the few sectors in which
respect for the environment, industrial development, and employment
growth can be combined.
