Athens,
Greece: HelioSphera Receives 9MW Thin Film Order
HelioSphera,
has signed a long term supply agreement with Tecno Spot, an Italian
distributor of photovoltaic modules and components.
In
a first step, the contract includes the supply of a minimum of
9 megawatts of micromorph thin film modules between 2009 and 2010,
and both parties agreed to consider a framework for additional
quantities in 2010.
The
state of the art 60 MW production facility of HelioSphera in Tripolis
(Greece) will be ready to start production and the first deliveries
during the 3rd quarter of 2009, and this contract is an important
step forward in the company’ s south European region route-to-market
strategy.

this contract much ahead of start of production is a very positive
sign for us that the market is willing to move to the newest production
technologies, which also have proven a higher energy performance
and the highest guarantee standards. We are also delighted to
