Milan,
Italy: Enipower Signs Solar Agreement with UniCredit
Enipower
today signed an agreement with UniCredit for the renewal and widening
of the partnership between the two companies in the solar energy
sector, renewing their integrated photovoltaic offer launched
in 2007. The partnership, previously established between Enipower
and UniCredit Banca, now also involves UniCredit Banca di Roma
and Banco di Sicilia (UniCredit Group).
Thanks
to the renewal of the partnership with UniCredit Group, Enipower
will continue to offer companies (this offer concerns 10 to 100
kW photovoltaic plants) the supply and installation of photovoltaic
plants without requesting payments in advance during the installation.
Payments
will be due starting from the drawing up of the agreement with
the GSE (the national electric services operator), which follows
the start-up of the plant.
Enipower
will therefore enable customers to benefit from immediate savings
on energy consumption and from grants established by law. Enipower
will carry out the project, the installation and the start up
of the plants and will also support customers obtaining grants
established by law.
In
order to support companies which decide to use photovoltaic energy,
UniCredit will offer them (those who will install Enipower plants)
personal financial solutions which will extend the period of the
loans and will allow them to cover up to 100% of the cost of the
plant, including insurance coverage.
Through
this operation, Eni reiterates its full commitment to energy sustainability
which includes the significant engagement in the research and
development of renewable energy sources (particularly solar and
biofuels).
