Italy: TerniEnergia Acquires Capital Energy srl
Italian
PV system integrator, TerniEnergia, has executed agreements for
the acquisition of Capital Energy. Capital Energy is a limited
liability company, with its registered office in Narḍ (Lecce).
The
acquisition is aimed at developing 6 new photovoltaic plants of
industrial size, whose total power amounts to 6 MWp, that are
in an advanced phase as far as authorizations are concerned.
By
means of this acquisition, TerniEnergia has further enriched its
portfolio of plants to be constructed.
As
of 30 September 2009, TerniEnergia counts 122 completed PV plants,
having an aggregate capacity exceeding 35 MWp. During the first
nine months of this year, the company completed the construction
of 24 medium and large sized photovoltaic plants for a total power
of 21.9 MWp.
As
a result, the company reached early its full year goal of 22 MWp
of installations set forth in its business plan.
