Milan, Italy: Prothea Completes First Round of Equity Financing

Italian system integrator Prothea has completed its first round of equity fundraising. Start up, Prothea Solar developing a pipeline of 20MW solar energy projects in Italy, France and the Mediterranean area.

Prothea Solar was established in November as the solar PV development and investment wing of Prothea, after successful completion of the first round of equity fundraising (EUR 250,000).

The mission of Prothea Solar is to become a relevant green power producer with a vision to develop, build and operate over 20MW of solar PV assets over the next 2 years.

Principal geographic focus is on the Italian, France and other Mediterranean Solar PV markets. Prothea Solar has already started the development of its first 3 projects in Italy (Regions of Lazio, Molise and Calabria).

Prothea is based in Italy (Milan and Lecce) and UK (London) and active in Italy, France and other Mediterranean countries.
