Venlo, Netherlands: Scheuten Solar to Construct PV System for Loveld NV

Scheuten Solar has concluded a turnkey EPC contract and a photovoltaics maintenance contract for the installation of nearly 3,500 solar panels with Loveld NV of Aalter, Belgium.

Loveld is active in the field of architectural concrete and incorporation of natural stone into precast elements.

The solar panels with a total output in excess of 708 kWp are installed on the flat roof of Loveld's production facility at Aalter. A special feature of the installation is the innovative spoiler system. An aerodynamic housing around the solar panels ensures that no wind can get in under them and provides the required stability. The roof system installation is one of a series of successful projects recently completed by Scheuten Solar in Belgium.

Ad Verbaas, Director Project Realization: "Realization of this project is in full swing and the system will be operationally connected to the grid before the end of the year. Our cooperation with Loveld NV shows once again that Scheuten Solar is the right partner in Belgium."

"We at Loveld are aware that a professional and efficient approach is vitally important to the success of a project. This clarifies why we opted for Scheuten Solar, which so far appears to be the right choice. We are convinced that this investment in green energy fits perfectly into our strategy of sustainable entrepreneurship", stated Director André Vanhulle.
