Constance, Germany: Sunways to Expand Cell Supply to Solarwatt. Constance based Sunways AG, will supply SOLARWATT AG, Dresden, with solar cells from 2009 onwards. The prepayment contract has a five year term and relates to a total quantity of 155 to 160 megawatts of mono and multicrystalline solar cells.

Waterloo, ON , Canada: ARISE Technologies Signs Six-Year Wafer Supply Agreement. ARISE Technologies Deutschland GmbH has signed a six-year agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of ReneSola Ltd to supply ARISE with 203.5 MW of silicon wafers.

Solarvalue AG, Berlin, and Sunways AG, Konstanz have concluded a research and development agreement. The agreement envisages close cooperation in the field of R&D, aiming to produce marketable solar cells using solar grade silicon, made on the basis of metallurgical silicon.
