Indianapolis, IN, USA: Firestone Energy Solutions and DC Power Systems Form Alliance

Firestone Energy Solutions, a division of Firestone Building Products, LLC, has formed a strategic alliance with DC Power Systems to bring solar energy products and services to Firestone’s nationwide roofing distribution network.

Under the new alliance, DC Power Systems will provide training for Firestone-licensed contractors in the design and installation of solar energy roof solutions, and serve as Firestone’s exclusive distributor of commercial solar products.

“Firestone’s reputation in the construction industry is world class, and this alliance will fast-track solar electric as a green energy option on millions of square feet of commercial roofs installed by Firestone contractors each year,” said David Michalek, Chief Operating Officer of DC Power Systems. DC Power currently distributes renewable energy products to more than 3,000 solar dealers throughout North and South America.

“Renewable energy solutions is a major initiative for Firestone Building Products,” said Jeff Henegar, General Manager of FSBP’s new Energy Solutions division. “This alliance with DC Power Systems brings the Firestone network a reputable, value-added distributor and is a significant step in our goal to become the largest supplier of solar products for commercial rooftops.”
