Munich, Germany: Centrosolar America Signs 10MW Distribution Agreement

Centrosolar America and Border States Electric (BSE) have entered into an agreement under which BSE will distribute Centrosolar’s PV systems. BSE is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States, which sells its products and services predominately to the construction, industrial, and utility industries.

As part of the agreement BSE will market PV panels and complete solar systems from Centrosolar via BSE branches in Phoenix, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Austin, Texas. Thus Centrosolar says the company will be able to tap into the important sales channel of technical wholesalers which are suppliers for solar installers.

The two companies are working together to target utility, commercial, and residential PV solar projects, which are expected to amount up to an order volume of 10 MWp until the end of 2010.
