Merkendorf, Germany: Payom Solar Starts Installation of Thin Film PV System. Payom Solar AG will start installation of a thin film project in the next few days.

Brussels, Belgium: 3,000 Solar Panels Installed on Roof of Investment Fund WDP. Closed-end real estate investment fund WDP puts its first solar energy power station into service. The more than 3,000 solar panels on the roof of the WDP site in Grimbergen can generate a power of 570 kWp.

Munich, Germany: Suntech to Supply One of the World’s Largest BIPV Solar Systems. Suntech Power has signed an agreement with Hanau Energies SAS to supply a 4.5MW building integrated PV system (BIPV) to a farm located in Alsace, France.

Milipitas, CA, USA: Milpitas Unified School District Partners Starts Construction on 3.4 megawatt System. Milpitas Unified School District has begun construction on a 14-site, districtwide solar power and energy efficiency program designed to supply 75 percent of the district's total annual electricity needs through solar energy.
