With
deep roots in the solar energy industry since 2001, Solarbuzz
is an international solar energy research and consulting company.
With analysts in the US, Europe and now Asia, our company is staffed
by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team drawn from some of the
largest companies in the solar energy industry today.
The
mission of Solarbuzz is to be the leading solar energy consultancy

Solarbuzz
provides a range of services including industry reports, custom

designed for specialist use by companies and organizations that
need a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the solar photovoltaic
market and industry.
Solarbuzz
LLC was acquired by The NPD Group
in March 2010 and operates in partnership with DisplaySearch,
an NPD Group company focused on flat panel display research. We
share a common vision to provide comprehensive, high quality solar
market research to our respective client bases.
As
a result of this acquisition, Solarbuzz gains access to an extended
network of sales and research support around the world, especially

Reports from Solarbuzz |
|
Solarbuzz has been developing research
reports on the solar energy industry for almost ten years.
Our clients come from over 30 countries and through out the supply
chain including: large global PV manufacturers, equipment manufacturers,
materials suppliers, large PV system integrators, hedge fund companies,
investment banks, and a wide range of global companies considering
participation in this industry.
Our
most popular reports include
Marketbuzz™
2009 is our global PV industry report released every year
in March. We believe this is a truly distinctive market report
and one that incorporates the type of commercial insight that
can only come from staff who have, prior to joining Solarbuzz,
been active themselves in the global PV business chain.
Intensive
commercial information and analysis of the downstream PV markets
is available in our annual reports on Europe,
Asia Pacific and
United States.
Each year, these reports provide essential market information
for both established PV leading companies and also for new market
entrants.
Solarbuzz™
QUARTERLY, a brand new report, updates global PV supply and
demand data for the prior 5 quarters and projects forward that
data two quarters.
We
are confident that no other solar energy consultancy reports match
the data intensity or commercial insight of those released by
Solarbuzz.

| Our
Industry News Sources |
|
Our news service on Solarbuzz.com is based only upon public information
and press releases from organizations regarding their solar energy
activities. We are disseminators, not creators, of news.
As
a result, there are no "journalistic activities" at Solarbuzz.com.
The news is a free service for the PV industry and designed to
facilitate speedy global communication around this rapidly growing
clean energy source.
We
are careful to be independent and impartial in this service and
prefer to avoid amending/editing a news story, once it has qualified
for inclusion. Criteria for inclusion on the site are that the
news is relevant (to solar energy), material (sufficient "buzz
quotient") and timely (we try to avoid "old news").
We
routinely confirm with companies, who submit news to us, the response
they receive to stories placed on solarbuzz.com. We now often
receive feedback that a story on Solarbuzz.com brings in the largest
response of any solar energy news online source or print magazine
platform.
If
we judge a news story to carry particularly strong content, it
will also be included in our FREE weekly e-mail newsletter, NBuzz.
The subscribers to NBuzz include the most influential personnel
across the worldwide solar energy industry today. NBuzz means
that you don't have to wait for news carried later by print based
publications.
We
only include articles on renewable energy where they relate to
funding or policy issues that we believe have a direct connection
to solar energy. We are, of course, delighted to receive your
news submissions.
We
reserve the right to determine whether to place the submissions
on the website.

| Industry
Portal |
As a major solar energy portal,
our priority is to provide information and access to companies
and topics related to the solar industry. While the primary focus
of our site content is photovoltaics (solar electric), we include
some companies in our listing that market solar thermal systems.
Solarbuzz.com also provides content designed to educate readers
on the commercial and environmental potential of solar energy.
Launched
in 2001, Solarbuzz.com has grown to be one of the most popular
online sources for information on solar energy. The core weekly
Solarbuzz community (in other words, excluding repeat visits and
spiders) is estimated at around 20,000, making solarbuzz.com possibly
the largest single destination, either online or print media,
for people dedicated to following the progress of the rapidly
growing worldwide solar energy industry.
Our
goal is to ensure that this content is independent and gives profile
to the many applications and regions where solar energy is making
in-roads. We encourage potential purchasers of solar energy and
products to use the country
pages, where you will find not only the solar companies closest
to you, but through their websites, also gain valuable information
regarding how to get the best out of solar power.

| Your
Feedback |
|
We welcome any help that you can provide on suggestions for new
or updated content and links. With your active input, we hope
Solarbuzz.com continues to contribute to the interest in the commercial
potential of solar energy. E-mail us at info@solarbuzz.com
with your comments.
We
strive to be a positive force for those working in, and served
by, the solar energy industry, to broaden the profile of the solar
energy industry to outside interests and to help display the commercial
potential of the industry over the next few years.
Our
vision is to see solar energy become a mainstream energy source
across the world based upon sound economic criteria. We believe
that the provision of accurate, timely and independent industry
information is an important contribution to realizing this vision.
We are extremely appreciative of your support.
