Solarbuzz is an international solar energy research and consulting
company, staffed by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team drawn
from some of the largest companies in the solar energy industry
today.
The mission
of Solarbuzz is to be the leading solar photovoltaic (PV) energy
consultancy in the world. In that quest, Solarbuzz now carries
more human resources dedicated to solar photovoltaics than any
other renewable energy consultancy. Our expertise comes from a
team with recent senior executive level experience working in
large vertically integrated PV companies.
Solarbuzz
provides a range of services including standard
industry
reports and
research and consultancy
services.
We offer information and support designed for specialist use by
companies and organizations that need a detailed and comprehensive
understanding of the solar photovoltaic market and industry.
After just
six years in business, Solarbuzz clients now include almost all
of the largest global PV manufacturers, nine of the Top 10 US
investment banks, hedge fund companies, a wide range of other
multi-nationals considering participation in this industry, together
with the largest PV system integrators.
Since January
2007, Solarbuzz corporate clients have come from:
Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel,
Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Russia,
Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand,
Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United
States.
Marketbuzz
2008 is
our annual global PV industry report. The current edition was
issued in March 2008. We believe this is a truly distinctive market
report and one that incorporates the type of commercial insight
that can only come from staff who have, prior to joining Solarbuzz,
been active themselves in the global PV business chain.
QBuzz,
our Quarterly News and Comment report, is an intensive 30-40 page
quarterly report designed to save your organization time and money.
The report captures the key PV industry and market events of the
previous three month period from around the world.
Our reports
are based on primary data research, the signature of Solarbuzz.

As a major solar energy
portal, our priority is to give high profile to links to companies
and topics related to the solar industry. While the primary focus
of our site content is photovoltaics (solar electric), we include
some companies in our listing that market solar thermal systems.
Solarbuzz.com
now receives one of the highest user traffic levels of any site
on the web dedicated to solar energy. The number of daily visitors
to the solarbuzz.com website has grown consistently since our
mid-2001 launch.
As
at January 2007, typical weekday traffic at solarbuzz.com had
reached between 6 - 7,000 visits per day (including spiders).
Peak days exceed this level.
On
April 23, 2007, the solarbuzz.com site received, for the first
time, more than 10,000 visits in a single day. A new record was
set on March 3, 2008, when site visits exceeded 12,000 that day.
The
core weekly Solarbuzz community (in other words, excluding repeat
visits and spiders) is estimated at around 20,000, making solarbuzz.com
possibly the largest single destination, either online or print
media, for folk solely dedicated to following the progress of
the rapidly growing worldwide solar energy industry.
Solarbuzz.com
also maintains on-site content, in order for site users to receive
a speedy understanding of both the commercial and environmental
potential of solar energy.
Our
goal is to ensure that this content is independent and gives profile
to the many applications and regions where solar energy is making
in-roads.
We
encourage potential purchasers of solar energy and products to
use the country
pages, where you will find not only the solar companies
closest to you, but through their websites, also gain valuable
information regarding how to get the best out of solar power.

Since
the key focus for Solarbuzz LLC is consultancy to the PV industry,
our news service is based only upon public information and press
releases submitted to us by organizations regarding their solar
energy activities.
We
are disseminators, not creators, of news.
There
are no "journalistic activities" at Solarbuzz.com. The
news service is free and designed to facilitate speedy global
communication around this rapidly growing clean energy industry.
We
are careful to be independent and impartial in this service and
prefer to avoid amending a news story, once it has qualified for
inclusion. Criteria for inclusion on the site are that the news
is relevant (to solar energy), material (sufficient "buzz
quotient") and timely (we try to avoid "old news").
We
routinely confirm with companies, who submit news to us, the response
they receive to stories placed on solarbuzz.com. We now often
receive feedback that a story on solarbuzz.com brings in the largest
response of any solar energy news online or print magazine platform.
If
we judge a news story to carry particularly strong content, it
will also be included in our FREE weekly e-mail newsletter, NBuzz.
The subscribers to NBuzz include many of the most influential
personnel in the worldwide solar energy industry today. NBuzz
means that you don't have to wait for news carried later by print
based publications.
We
only include articles on renewable energy where they relate to
funding or policy issues that we believe have a direct connection
to solar energy.
We
are of course delighted to receive your
news
submissions. We reserve the right
to determine whether to place the submissions on the website.

Finally,
and most importantly, we welcome any help that you can provide
on suggestions for new or updated content and links.
With your
active input, we hope Solarbuzz can become one contributor to
bringing new interest to the commercial potential of solar energy.
Simply e-mail us at

your comments.
We strive
to be a positive force for those working in, and served by, the
solar energy industry, to broaden the profile of the solar energy
industry to outside interests and to help display the commercial
potential of the industry over the next few years.
Our vision
is to see solar energy become a mainstream energy source across
the world based upon sound economic criteria. We believe that
the provision of accurate, timely and independent industry information
is an important contribution to realizing this vision.
We are extremely
appreciative of your support.
