Germany: aleo solar AG Signs New Italian Contracts
aleo
solar AG is continuing to expand its business in Italy following
the signing two supply contracts for a total of 5.5 megwatts with
the Italian project developer ERIC Group S.p.a.
Of
this total, 500 kilowatts will be delivered this year, with the
remaining 5 megawatts to follow in 2009. Giovanni Buogo, Sales
Director of aleo solar Italia S.r.l., sees a continually positive
development in Italy:
"In
the first six months of 2008, aleo solar has recorded a four-fold
year-on-year increase in sales in Italy. Customers especially
appreciate our expertise in rooftop installations."
Marcello
Navanteri, Managing Director of the ERIC Group, explained why
his company chose the aleo modules: "The modules' quality, reliability
and yield is critically important to the success of our projects,
as is the support and service provided by the local aleo solar
subsidiary. We are looking for long-term relationships with our
partners and we believe that we can best pursue this sustainable
approach with aleo solar at our side."
