Nanjing,
China: ET Solar Completes 1.9 MW PV System in Katharinenrieth
ET
Solar has completed a 1.9MW ground mounted PV power plant in eastern
Germany. Located in Katharinenrieth, a village in Saxony-AnhaltI,
the plant was fully connected to the grid managed by Envia Netz,
a large grid operator in the region, on June 24th this year.
ET
Solar’s German engineer team provided full design and managed
the entire construction of the project with ET Solar’s China manufacturing
plant being the PV module supplier. The plant has a 30-year designed
life and is expected to generate approximately 36 million kwh
of electricity and reduce almost 22,000 tons of carbon emissions
over the 20-year subsidy period.
Wattner
AG, a Cologne based investment trust specialized in renewable
energy investments, is the sole equity investor of the project
via its publicly raised SunAsset fund.
Dennis
She, President of ET Solar, commented “Following the 1.5MW power
plant that we, as EPC contractor, delivered to Wattner last December,
this project further solidified our track record in providing
turnkey solutions to our customers and enhanced the bankability
of our module products especially when it was project financed
by DKB. In addition to EPC contracting, we strive to expand our
service scope by arranging short/long term financing and sourcing
investors going forward.”
Guido
Ingwer, Managing Partner of Wattner, commented “We are very pleased
with the second power station that ET Solar designed and constructed
for us in Germany. We continue to be impressed with the design
consistency and execution efficiency that ET Solar achieved. We
look forward to converting more prospective projects to grid connected
power plants with ET Solar this year.”
