Hamburg, Germany: MEMC and Conergy Amend Solar Wafer Supply Contract. MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. and Conergy have amended their 10-year wafer supply contract. The sales volume of the contract has been adjusted to approximately $ 4 billion compared to $ 7-8 billion in the original agreement.

Calgary, Canada: Sustainable Signs Distribution Agreement for Greece. Inverter manufacturer, Sustainable Energy Technologies has signed a Distribution Agreement with a.c.e. Berlin, Germany: CDU/CSU Calls for 25% Reduction in German Solar Funding. The Conservative CDU/CSU alliance in the German Bundestag (Lower House of Parliament) has announced that they want to see a decrease in solar funding by 2010 of over 25 percent.
