Fremont,
CA, USA: Solaria Announces New Appointments
Solar
module manufacturer, Solaria Corporation has announced the appointments
of Bruce Dickinson as Vice President of Sales and Stri Zulch as
Vice President of Marketing. Dickinson was most recently Director
of Business Development and Sales Leader at Chevron Energy Solutions.
Zulch
previously led marketing at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, PowerLight,
and Jacuzzi. Both bring decades of solar experience and leadership
credentials to Solaria's executive team. Dickinson and Zulch join
two other key hires that together round out the company's management
team as Solaria transitions from R&D to a global product company;
Mark Wilkerson, Senior Account Manager, U.S. Sales; and Tyroan
Hardy, Senior Director, Customer Applications.
Wilkerson
previously ran North American sales for Trina Solar and SunWize,
and Hardy led North American project construction and estimating
at PowerLight and SunPower.
"These
additions bring another 60 years of solar experience to a world-class
team that is taking Solaria's modules-the most cost effective
and reliable technology for large-scale solar electric systems-to
market," said Solaria CEO Dan Shugar. "Our professionals in sales,
marketing, customer service, product development, operations,
and R&D have an amazing track record of company success that was
built on delivering high value solutions that meet customer needs."
"Our
R&D team has spent years developing a product that will transform
the solar industry. We're thrilled to have such outstanding sales
and marketing leadership as we scale to high volume manufacturing,"
added Solaria president Suvi Sharma. "As the global demand for
solar grows, Solaria is now positioned to take full advantage
of this opportunity."
Solaria
says its modules, used by leading customers in Europe, North America,
and Asia, deliver proven crystalline silicon performance at a
substantially lower cost. Designed specifically for ground-mounted
tracking systems and certified to UL1703 and IEC61215 standards,
the performance and reliability of the Solaria module has been
validated by independent laboratories.
Solaria
says the company builds modules in the US and Asia using proprietary
processes that require only a fraction of the capital expenditure
per watt of manufacturing capacity needed by standard industry
processes.
