Berlin, Germany: CDU/CSU Calls for 25% Reduction in German Solar Funding. The Conservative CDU/CSU alliance in the German Bundestag (Lower House of Parliament) has announced that they want to see a decrease in solar funding by 2010 of over 25 percent.

Dec 6, 2007 Germany Berlin, Germany: German Cabinet Approves Renewable Energy Draft Legislation. The German Cabinet has approved a draft law for the amendment of the Renewable Energy Act (EEG), the main national funding mechanism that provides market incentives for renewable energy in Germany.
