Changzhou, China: Trina Solar Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Trina Solar, a vertically integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products founded in 1997, announced today the appointment of Mr. Sean Tzou as Trina Solar's Chief Operating Officer. At this position, Mr. Tzou will report directly to Mr. Jifan Gao, Trina Solar's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and will be in charge of the company's overall operations.

Mr. Tzou brings to Trina Solar more than twenty years of experience in product development, strategic planning, supply chain management and operations management both in China and the US. Prior to joining Trina Solar, Mr. Tzou spent twenty years with Solectron Corporation, a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services company headquartered in the U.S., most recently as Corporate Vice President in charge of Asia-Pacific Services. Over the years Mr. Tzou has proven himself to be a leader and a model of achievement through his hard work and dedication.
