Freiburg, Germany: Solar-Fabrik AG Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

The Supervisory Board of Solar-Fabrik AG has appointed Mr. Günter Weinberger as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solar-Fabrik AG.

Mr. Günter Weinberger succeeds Mr. Christoph Paradeis, the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solar-Fabrik AG, who will leave the Company in mutual agreement effective as of December 31, 2008. The Supervisory Board thanks Mr. Paradeis for his many years of hard work for the Company.

The Supervisory Board of Solar-Fabrik explains that Mr. Weinberger is a highly experienced Manager, who has acquired extensive know-how and understanding in the area of wafer production which extends to the delivery of system solutions.

Mr. Günter Weinberger has spent the greater part of his past professional career at Siemens and Infineon. In the last few years, he has acted as President and CEO of a US company.

Solar-Fabrik AG is headquartered in Freiburg, Germany, where the company operates two module manufacturing factories. Solar-Fabrik and its subsidiaries and associates also span the entire solar power value chain: wafer trading, wafer recovery, solar cell manufacture, solar module production and system solutions.
