Bend, OR, USA: Inverter Manufacturer, PV Powered Appoints President

U.S. solar inverter manufacturer, PV Powered has appointed Glenn Harris as company president. Mr. Harris brings to the company many years of international business experience in the solar electric industry along with successful entrepreneurial and corporate management experience in emerging technology markets. His leadership will be instrumental as PV Powered aggressively moves forward with its market, company, and product-line expansions.

Most recently, Glenn served as CEO/president of SunCentric Incorporated, a solar consultancy firm that worked with an international client base of established and emerging solar companies. Prior to SunCentric, Glenn was General Manager of a major value added solar electric distributor where he was the principal architect of the company's successful multi-market expansion in the U.S. and Canada.

While directing the company's ten-fold growth, Harris worked closely with international and U.S. manufacturers, introducing new PV and inverter product lines for grid-tied and off-grid markets.

Glenn received his B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he focused on imaging sciences. He has founded and managed his own successful multi-million dollar companies, worked for and consulted with multinationals, the Fortune 500, and entrepreneurs in various business stages. He has been published in various trade publications, been the keynote speaker at industry events, and served on industry boards.
